The new Bentley Flying Spur W12 S has been revealed ahead of the 2016 Paris Motor Show. It’s the fastest four-door luxury sedan Bentley ever made.
“The Flying Spur W12 S is the ultimate luxury performance sedan”, says Wolfgang Dürheimer, chairman and chief executive of Bentley Motors. “It combines sharper dynamics and an increase in power from our renowned W12 engine with a more assertive exterior and interior design for customers looking for a Flying Spur with extra attitude.”
The model seen here features an extended gloss black treatment with menacing 21-inch gloss black wheels, blacked out grille and headlamp surrounds, black mirror housings and B-pillar as well as window garnish. Inside, the Flying Spur W12 S gets black leather with tan accents and carbon fiber details. Overall, it looks pretty stunning. The perfect car for the Albanian mafia, if you know what I mean.
Under the bonnet is a 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine that puts out 626 hp and 605 lb-ft of torque which is available from as low as 2000 rpm. Ride the torque wave and the 2-tonne luxury sedan will hit a top speed of 205 mph. This makes it the fastest four-door ever to come out of the Crewe factory. Despite its weight, it can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 4.2 sec.
Like all big Bentley’s the Flying Spur W12 S has all-wheel drive with a 40:60 front to rear torque split. Suspension has been tuned to cope with the higher top speed without compromising on the ride. Furthermore, carbon ceramic brakes are being offered to customers as an option who will receive their cars by the end of this year.
