2015 Corvette Z06 is pretty damn fast!

Here is more proof that the 2015 Corvette Z06 is a seriously quick car. A bone stock Z06 running 10s at a drag strip is sufficient proof that this Chevy has got sophisticated muscle.

The C7 Corvette Z06 is a modern lightweight sportscar that isn’t anything like its predecessors. It is sophisticated for starters and is gunning for big names in the industry.

Powered by a 650 hp V8 this Z06 on stock rubber is able to achieve 10.42 over a quarter mile at 132 mph. That’s respectable given that fact that the driver had a slow reaction time. I am sure that he can shave off 0.42 sec with some practice.

There have also been rumors about the 2015 Corvette Z06 clocking 6.59 sec around the Nurburgring Nordschleife. However, these reports were quickly rubbished by the Chevy officials. Still a pretty damn fast car.
