2019 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Speedster Render by Peisert Design
Aston Martin is believed to be working on an ultra-limited edition Vanquish Zagato Speedster. According to sources close to Peisert Design– the creator of this awesome rendering, the British supercar brand is likely to make an announcement soon.
Aided by insider information, Peisert Design has envisioned a Vanquish Zagato Speedster. The design is clearly based off the Vaquish Zagato Volante of which only 99 were built. The Volante was in turn inspired by the coupe which was unveiled at Villa d’Este in May 2016.
Characteristic design features of the Speedster are the twin humps on the rear deck lid. Apart from that, the rest of design is fairly similar to the Volante. The model will also use the same 5.9-liter V12 engine as the Volante. This engine delivers 592 hp which is enough to accelerate the car from 0-60 mph in 3.7 sec. Top speed will be nudging 200 mph.
According to Autocar, the Speedster will cost £1.3 million ($1.68 million approx) of which just 28 units will be built.
